 Perhaps it's time some obsessives moved on from endlessly picking over the bones of the Buddy Holly plane crash, Lachlan.
Perhaps Ryan can write his next book about the Eddie Cochran car crash and call it "Gallipoli".
Just think on... more time has passed between the Buddy Holly plane crash and now, than passed between the Ypres battle in Flanders fields and February 1959.
Although "In Flanders Fields" is now in the public domain, and thus not copyright, it is still plagiarism to use the title even if not strictly a tort any more. Furthermore, it is not a poem mourning the dead. It is a rallying cry to the living to fight on. It has absolutely no shred of connection to the crash of a small private plane chartered by a man who wanted to get his laundry done. And it's use for this is an insult.
I too ignore stuff that doesn't interest me.
Can we have a moratorium on threads about the plane crash please?
