 I doubt they're worried about "official use" of Buddy's likeness. It's probably just laziness. It has been going on pretty much ever since people were posting about Buddy on the internet. For as long as this message board has been up (20+ years) people have been finding things using John Mueller's image instead of Buddy's. I find it especially annoying when John's image appears on actual products like CDs.
