 Franklyn, Reminiscing was copyrighted in 1958 so it would appear that if Buddy wrote it he did give it to King Curtis.
It could be that as Buddy was wanting to cancel his publishing agreement with Petty, and this covered all songs Buddy wrote, he gave this one away rather than let Petty make money from it.
