 It's not surprising that some misinformation relating to Carolyn Hester and her Scarlet Ribbons LP seems to have crept into Bill's Day-by-Day chronology, because after decades passed the facts easily could have become murky. If the links copied below post correctly, they will take you to a 2013 article on Carolyn Hester in the East Texas Historical Journal, and an earlier 2008 article in The Austin Chronicle. The articles state that Buddy worked together with Carolyn Hester on four Christmas songs that she recorded for Coral, but the master tapes of those recordings have disappeared. It seems reasonably clear that Buddy and Carolyn recorded together, so possibly that was the source of the confusion.
