 Thank you for sharing your memories. Here are mine:

We were living in a tiny rented trailer in a small trailer court on East Mohave Road in Tucson, Arizona. I was in the 12th grade at Amphitheater High School. After I got home that day, I got the evening newspaper (the now defunct "Tucson Citizen") from our small yard. I sat down on the couch and read the front page. We didn't have a TV, but that night a dj called "Real Gone Glen" on station KAIR played the music of the Three Stars for an hour.

One radio station (either KAIR or KTKT) on Saturday January 31 had as their pick hit of the next week Buddy Holly's latest record, both sides, "It Doesn't Matter Anymore" and "Raining in My Heart". Tuesday of that week was February 3.

In 2019 I got access to the newspaper archives of Ancestry.com, the pages from the "Citizen" (February 3 & 4) were the first pages that I printed out.
