Hi R.K.

That is great news about Chirping Crickets sans the picks.

In most circumstances, I am on the side of preserving history, but considering the damage the Picks have done to Buddy's legacy since the 1980's,turnabout is fair play.

The remaining question, and perhaps I should try to contact
Mr. Beecher, is whether or not the new Rollercoaster release
will include sympathetic and skillful stereo creations of those tracks, now that the tech has matured to the level that convincing "stereo" can be achieved while still respecting the feel of the original recordings.

Even before the technology improved, some very careful youtube posters were offering very good attempts at such creations. Unfortunately, then and even now, some such offerings are very poor and actually damage the quality of the original mono.

One of my early favourites for attempting such alchemy
is an entity named "amigoivystereo" on youtube.

Even though those attempts did not eliminate the Picks,
their too high in the mix status was reduced, and the instrumental backing instruments were given more prominence,
particularly Buddy's guitar. I do not know who Amigoivystereo is, but they achieved excellent results more than a full decade ago.
