Have you ever written a book yourself? If so I congratulate you but if not, well then, I can only say here we go again. I have always found that the biggest critics of books or people who have written the books, are the ones who have never written a magazine article let alone a book themselves. I have written a total of twelve books and many articles mostly about Buddy and The Crickets and the time and dedication it takes to do something like this is very high. As Randy will verify, I have written a total of three books on the tour to Australia by Buddy and The Crickets and also books on the tour here by Eddie Cochran, Little Richard and jerry Lee Lewis. I have also written a book on the 'Legacies' that Buddy left behind. I am proud to say all books were sold out before they were even printed and all are now out of print. Additionally, I have written a booklet on the petty jealousies and the bitterness that surrounds the Holly community. It will never be published for obvious reasons. I have read both the books you referred to in your thread and although I disagreed with some of what both authors stated, I also agreed with much of what they said. I admire them both for having the willingness, guts and determination to write said books. To say that both authors 'fabricated much of the content' is quite harsh I believe. Whilst writing a book, the author has the authority or license to write what he or she has discovered in their research. Mr Graham, I do not know where you are from or what your real name is as Graham is both a christian and a surname but here in Australia we have what is known as free speech and yes you are entitled to your opinion albeit ......
