 This is my final post on my statement. Because of my medical conditions, I don't have the energy to keep on debating the subject.

You asked about Bruce Springsteen. This is what I found while I was researching covers of Buddy Holly songs:

SPRINGSTEEN BRUCE
RAVE ON CD CRYSTAL CAT #? ROXY NIGHT YR?

The list I put in the post was only a small sample of the people/groups who have recorded such covers. The entire list -- with songs, albums, etc. -- is about 70 pages long (fine print) which is too large to put on a post here.
