I am keen to know more about Jo Harper, who ran Norman Petty's New York office. She was a really good friend of Buddy and The Crickets. I know that Peggy Sue didnt get on that well with her, as trendy Jo had laughed at how Peggy Sue dressed and told her "you're off the farm now, honey".

Jo's dad was an Air Force Colonel and had known Petty through his musical quartet. Its said Jo was like a surrogate daughter to Norman and Vi. I'd like to know more. I know she was mugged in New York in the early 60s, and sometime later she collapsed and died as a result of a blow to her head from that mugging. Not sure of the date, but she would still be very young. So tragic.

If anybody can shed any light on her and had more of a biography of her and what happened, I am interested. Thanks.
