 We met Bill in 1995 on our first visit to America and he was very friendly and gave us a lot of information including all the Buddy Holly sites around Lubbock which made our visit more pleasueable.
We revisited Bill many times over the years, I think about 7 of our 11 years visiting America. Through Bill we have met many other people assocoated with Buddy Holly and are still friends with many of them although sadly some have passed away over the years.
We also became very friendly with Bill's Wife Sharon and she made us very wecombe when we visied after Bill's death.
Sadly our long haul days are over as it is too much now we are approching our 80's but we have some great memories and pictures of our visits to America.
