 I found some websites stating that Buddy Holly played lead guitar on the Swingin Daddy session in Seattle by Buddy Knox.

How true is this?

The style of playing has a certain Buddy Holly quality, but the guitar sound sure doesn't.

Wasn't Don Lanier on the tour? Buddy Holly playing on another guitar? etc etc ...
