 I concur, Mona is pretty cool.

I had a theory a few years ago that Buddy and J.I. had traded places, since we know J.I. could play guitar and Buddy was proficient on the skins.

However, since we hear Buddy giving instructions to the drummer, that part of my theory is debunked.

I don't think "demo" is quite the right description as there seems to have been no attempt to sing directly in to a microphone. I would call it a practice session or simply
a working out of ideas for a potential future session.

It would be helpful to know what proper "session" they were warming up for, or taking a break from. That would give us a good idea of the players we are hearing on Mona.
