While I appreciate all perspectives on the issue of costs, I would encourage all of us to keep a few things in mind...

• Roddy Jordan is the author of this book and should be applauded for his efforts to write it. At a point in life that he could do whatever he pleases to do, he chose to write another book on Holly.

• Roddy Jordan is a passionate 1950s rock-n-roll music fan and historian and will tirelessly research his subject until he is satisfied with his findings. In that way, his work reminds me of the work of Bill Griggs. You can trust it.

•Roddy is the person who put wrote the book and he should be the person who decides on how the book will be distributed.

I recently had the opportunity to see a rough draft of the book and was incredibly impressed with his findings. I am a veracious reader and own lots of books and his book is the most I have ever paid for a book. Because I know Roddy and how much time and effort he put into this project, I personally think it’s worth every penny. I can hardly wait to get my hands and eyes on it.
