Thanks. Frank. I know this sight was/is Buddy Holly. I see other singers, band members, song writers are mentioned here, which information I may not have found out otherwise. The death of James Kirkland was bass player that lived in my home town after he quite playing in any band. After researching that he more or less invented slap bass. Ronnie Hawkins had several hits and of course was not much publicized. Harold Bynum wrote over 200 songs and most was country. I know this information may not be about Buddy or Crickets, But I am interested in music and everyone’s contribution in the area of Buddy.
