 On last evening's news, they gave the box office's top five films: At the time of the broadcast, "Elvis" and "Maverick: Top Gun 2" were in a dead heat for first place.

The newcaster said they (Hollywood) will know who was *the* top film when all of the weekend's numbers are tallied.

I hope "Elvis" truly was the top film. "Top Gun 2" supposedly hit the one billion dollar mark, so I say that film had its day in the sun, let someone else be top dog. :)
