 Just talked to Sonny, and he filled me in on why he backed out of the concert. He had been booked for the show more than a year ago and he told the committee back then that he most likely won't make it because his cancer had gotten worse. Then, shortly before the event, he backed out, because of that. He also said that Eddy backed out because he had back surgery and Nelson's guitarist, James Burton caught the virus. He did sound very good over the phone, so, I'm certain this 85-year-old beautiful man should be around much longer.
