Tone is something that is often misinterpreted with the written word. I notice that Mr. Stewart mentioned on this thread that "you chose to humiliate me by bringing up the incorrect spelling." At this point, Randy Steele is in this thread with you contributing to the discussion.
I don't believe Randy pointed out the spelling error. That didn't happen on this thread, but on an earlier thread which was posted before the article was available. The title of the thread included a typo, "The Exhumanization of the Big Popper," and the content of the post doubled down on the use of the word (or non-word) "exhumanization." At this point, the article wasn't available, or at least, we were led to believe it was coming soon. So it never occurred to me to try and find the article as I didn't believe it was published yet. Me pointing out the error (I believe I was the second person to do so) was an attempt to be helpful, catching it before publication, though in re-reading it I think it comes across as condescending. That was not my intent. I also said in the same comment how much I enjoy Mr. Stewart's writing. I treasure the book, "Eleven Unsung Heroes of Rock and Roll." If my contribution to the discussion of the spelling error caused you upset or humiliation of any kind on the thread posted prior to the Lance Monthly release, I am deeply sorry. I could have dug a little deeper to find a way to contact you privately with my concerns.
