Dick - Your son was clearly very talented and I'm so sorry for your loss.

Moody, melancholy, and melodic is how I'd describe the song. Well done. A class effort.

With Randy's permission, I'm going to re-post something I wrote about your books on December 20th. I rarely post, but when I do, you can almost bet it'll kill the thread. I don't know why this is, but I've been fairly consistent at shutting threads down over the last 20 years or so:

"Dick - I agree with Randy. I purchased "Eleven Unsung Heroes" several years ago and ordered "Fourteen" when I saw your post. I should've ordered it directly from you - I will with your next project. I started reading from the middle because I was drawn to the Bob Hale story and I kept on in that direction before starting over at the beginning. I knew the outlines of the Ronnie Smith story, but that chapter went into depth about what may be the saddest story in the book. For a fan of this music and the people who made it, including the behind-the-scenes players, this is a great read."

Happy Christmas and New Year everyone.

Mark
