the most interesting item in this thread is the extra
decca session material. One has to wonder why the family is holding it back. I can understand the reticence regarding the very personal Christmas home movie, but why this recording?
I'm sure they have felt burned on many occasions by record companies large and small, but if they were offered a measure of up front compensation, why not share something new for the fans? Could it be that if they openly declare it's existence, a certain other entity may immediately claim ownership?
