They also teamed up with Bobby Vee to sing Bo Diddley and Someday
I hope you found this of interest

The other acts were Russ Sainty and the New Notes, Frank Kelly and the Hunters and Ronnie Carroll.

Russ and Frank were billed as “the pillow boys “,
both having send me the pillow as their current release. Neither made the
Charts.
It was a very good show, packed out. The Crickets comprised of sonny Curtis, Jerry Naylor,Glen D Hardin and DonGroom on drums, with J I being absent in the army
