 Got my copy of the book the other day. Why is it that a book that took eight years to prepare still has factual mistakes?
I've only browsed through it but so far noticed:-
"The original raw recordings (of the apartment tapes) never saw an official release." Page 254.
Of I Fought The Law and Love's Made A Fool Of You ...."Both songs were written by multi-talented Sonny Curtis" Page 259.
On Page 297 it states that Linda Ronstadt released Rave On, Oh Boy, Well...All Right and Maybe Baby - this could be so but I can find no trace of them.
Regarding the contents of the book - some new (to me) photos and a lot of people now on the band wagon who in the 1960s and 70s were very, very quiet about their debt to Holly!!
I expect to find more problems with the truth as I read further.
