 LOL, that was an outrageously vulgar performance, even for 1968.

Since Buddy told an interviewer he was willing to hop on a new musical trend, if he'd lived would he have imitated the British Invasion acts who were so influenced by him? More high harmonies, jangly guitars? The whole "Words of Love" "Wishing" vibe; responding to the "Beatley" bands of the 1960s by being more "Crickety".

Something we'll never know.
