As to the certainty of the market for an updated, printed version of Bill Griggs (and Tom Reed’s) Buddy Holly “Day By Day” Series, may I offer a slightly different perspective? Publishing/printing is not free and these days, the vast majority of people receive their news and information via their telephone or their tablet. Case in point: At the time of his death in 2011, Bill Griggs owned just over 7,000 unsold booklets that he had printed and paid for. That number is not a typo. All these years later, you can still find assorted ones available at the Buddy Holly Center in Lubbock.

The amount of time and energy that Tom Reed has put into this is unbelievable and when the revised editions are released next year, I believe that fans will be pleasantly surprised and how much Tom has discovered. I am confident that Bill Griggs would be enormously proud of this development and of Tom Reed, a person that Bill trusted extensively.
