 Hoffman likely still has many of the masters. The second the matter of Buddy Holly master tapes comes up on his forum, the post -- or even thread -- containing the mention is deleted.

He's as shady as they come. The thing is, if he comes forth with the tapes, that's proof that he stole them. He'll never work in the industry again. Then again, he hasn't worked much lately anyway...
