Well, I'm not the one calling the other names in this conversation right now, so I don't think you are in a very good position to complain.

Of course, we cant make you think a certain way, but then again, we believe that everyone should be treated equally until a court of law takes away those rights after a trial as guaurunteed in the Constitution.

I do think that some people are too easily provoked into calling other people bigots, and I usually try to stay away from the word as much as I can. However, I do personally disagree with people who oppose a certain group just because of who they are (KKK with blacks; anti-semites with jews; many conservaties with gays). Of course they have the right to believe what they do, but I think we are trying to create the understanding that one shouldn't hate or oppose another group just because they are part of that group, and that people are their own people, and that judging by the group is bad. Not all conservatives are bad, and when I talk about the really bad ones, I usually have specific people or groups in mind (fallwell, buchanan, robertson, the AFA, the southern baptist convention, the christian coalition mainly). I am well aware that these people and groups to not comprise every single's conseratvies or christian's views on these matters, and I usually try to be careful about grouping people together unfairly.

Every group, regardless of what they are arguing are always trying to get the upperhand as far as getting their message out. However, we are far from censorship. Groups that support your are obviously not being censored because of all the websites that you've thrown at us, and they do get tv time, especially when these debates come up.

Also, we are far from communist. The main premise of communism was from each his talents to each his needs (i think thats what it was) or aka everyone gives to society what they are capable of, and everyone is given what they need to survive. Everyone is theoritically equal, and their belief that the market naturally creates inequality. Somehow I don't think that homosexuality has much to do with the market system.
