I waited all summer for this??

Well, I didn't get to watch the show on Monday because I had a memorial to attend. Luckily we have Tivo. So I watched the show last night. I already knew about the baby in the toilet thing because of some spoilers, but I am really not happy with this eppisode.

First off, I am getting a little tired of the Danny/Marla thing. Danny was totally right to tell Steven about the baby. Marla had no right to hold back information, especially when it deals with the potential future safety of a helpless baby. Marla certainly had no right to go off on Danny like she did. I don't believe anyone would think that Danny did what he did just so he could be the center of attention, or to be popular. Heck, what he did he knew would result in a student being arrested. No one would think that is a step up the popularity ladder. I was also surprised that Ms. Sudor (forget her first name) didn't say a word when Marla went off on Danny. She just followed behind Marla as she left the lounge? Sorry..I don't buy it.

Also, since when is Harvey a total idiot and unable to remember basic pronunciation? Suddenly the only thing we can do with him is to make him mispronounce the word 'coup'? Again, I don't buy that for a moment.

I also don't buy the notion that Guber would stand up in front of all the 'jocks' the way he did. The very speach was almost telling those kids to go get into a fight. That is very uncharacteristic of Guber. And for him to then look surprised that a riot ensued? (of course, the first shove was from a kid on the other side). Another bit that I just couldn't swallow.

Oh..and what's the deal with Harry's hair? Does he just grow it out in the off season? I remember a discussion about it last year as well when he came back looking like prince valiant for the first 2 or 3 eps. Well, I know what's coming, so I'm not too upset about it. But then again, I also didn't get the whole thing with Ronnie yelling at him. He didn't hit her, nor did he try to. He didn't want to be touched and he through his hands up 'defensively'. She needs to take a step down off of that high horse of hers.

I certainly hope the show improves from this, otherwise it's another one that I won't be watching for much longer.
