Thanks for the clarification. I didn't realize the phrase was that old. I've only just recently heard it anywhere. I was certain it was brand new.

I agree totally with Jamie. Because men/boys don't have the responsibility of carrying the baby in their bodies, they seem to be less in touch with the idea that they too are responsible for the pregnancy resulting from their irresponsible behavior. In addition, I think that as a society we are too quick to lay the majority of the responsibility for a pregnancy on the woman/girl.
