This is exactly how I feel about it. In fact I just posted something along these lines on the VH1 Perry board this afternoon. Steve doesn't owe me anything, in fact, I owe him a tremendous amount of gratitude and respect for the wonderful music he's brought to my life. If he ever wants to share more of it, I'll be here waiting. I would love another chance to see him live, but if he chooses not to tour again, I'll just watch my videos and pretend, LOL.
