Woohoo!!! Just got mine today at Sam Goody. (I think they used to be owned by Best Buy). Check this out....the clerk said only two LEFT in the store, but there are 114 in the local warehouse. They have been selling well here since they came in Tuesday! I found mine in the jazz section, but the clerk knew about it since it was a new release. When Perry sings, "too good together, baby".....well, it's soooo good! Did anyone else think of his song ANYWAY when he sang the words, "Whoa I've tried"? His voice is perfect! Classic Perry all the way. The anticipation of those first notes from him were killin' me after I scanned down to track 8 in the car. So glad to know he participated in this and is appreciated by Jeff for his talent.
I like Playin' It Cool alot and someone mentioned that track 6, "Isn't That So" would be a natural for Steve to have sung. Personally, I wish he would have done a duet with the girl that sang "Skin Tight" on track 11. Steve singing R&B/soul has always been my favorite style of his. I remember how he cooked on Hold On I'm Comin', Roadrunner, etc.
Go out and FIND that CD, if you haven't already!
Moyes? You readin' this? Check it out!
