i sent out a resume for a summer internship to bbdo and i got an instant response from them, saying that l&m showed an interest. so i'm wondering...can somebody tell me something about l&m? i tried to get to their website (http://www.lnm.com.hk/) but there was some problem with it and i couldn't get through. and also...what's the culture like in the company? how do people dress for work and such? thank you SO much!

Not sure but I think what he is tryin' to tell you is O&M. www.ogilvy.com
Wait a minute... are you tellin' me that you've never heard of O&M, or OM, but you wanna find your career in this industry?

Anyway, goodluck.

hi admanic,
i don't think grace has any problem that she doesn't know what is O&M... I even don't know too many 4A's agencies' names when i was guaduated too.
And i guess she's still a student, so i don't think it's a really awful stuff for her.

p.s. I don't know all 4A's name when i was working in design house in my first year too, haha!

Cheer up!

To above all,
L & M is a partner of BBDO Asia Pacific and start their business since 1984. They have account such as P & G and Watsons.

Don't be so mean! There're so many agencies in HK.

so is l&m also at quarry bay, where bbdo is? and should i apply to more agencies? because i got a huge list of companies from the red book, but i probably wouldn't want to send my resume to every single one of the agencies, and it would be better to send it to specific people in charge instead of addressing my resume to "human resources" right? anyways i can't wait till school is over so i can go back to hong kong! thanks guys!

No offense but all I was saying was make sure she should've got herself prepared before deciding what she wants to be, whom she'd like to work with.

True like others I don't even know there is a agency such as L&M. Too, I'm not a local; however I did spend a lot of time, searching n deciding which agencies, what kind of people I'd like to work with; and once I made up my mind I went right thru it.....

I thought I was doing sth. good to Grace. I am truly sorry if my words make y'all think of that way.

i agree it's necessary to spend sometimes to search a suitable agency and its culture before sending a resume to it.

maybe i'm a bit serious to the subject,ha~~

nevermind, we're friends in this field~
