其實面試並無一定"規格",但大都以傾談為主.有人會展示自己的廣告作品,編寫過的劇本,散文,繪本,小玩意等等,目的都是希望透過這些媒介,有效地讓人認識"自己".

面試時間有長有短,大多約半小時;面試次數也不定,但肯定沒有人會多花時間在沒興趣的人身上.我入行那一次面試在創作總監的辦公室裡舉行,甫坐下我便展示了一些自己創作的廣告習作和過往的文字創作.創作總監沒給甚麼評語,靜聽我的講解,有興趣的便拿來多看一會.匆匆展示過後,創作總監便放下我的作品,天南地北地跟我談起來--對廣告的看法,自己的經歷,時事,人生目標,宗教......甚麼話題也扯上了,所佔的時間比我向他展示作品的還要多.

過了一星期,我會面了行政創作總監,算是第二次面試了吧!模式大致一樣,都是談天說地為多,當然到最後也會談及待遇問題,但基本上沒甚麼不同.

若你有面試機會,你大可以想想,怎可以讓別人在半小時內認識你的個性和特點,然後再加一些可表現你的文筆和創意的東西就可以了.說得簡單,其實也蠻困難的.我自己也不見得做得很好.

當然,事前了解一下公司和面試人的背境,工作性質和範圍,最近作品等等更好.
