I approach the heard softly, as to not disturb the skiddish or young ones....but, i sing a soft sweet tune to calm the heard, the evil ones are far in the distance.....i walk to Sundance, pet your muzzle, and whisper in your ear...."take me to the edge of the plain grasses, there we will meet Shadowfax, who was the king of all horses, now he remains a spirit, who watches over you and your heard....he would like to meet you." you look at me with a nod of understanding..."i also need you to bring five of your strongest, we need a look out set up for the night, the evil ones will be about..." you look up and turn your head to the heard, whinny to the others, and three mares and two stallions approach us...i grab a hold of your mane, leap onto your back and we ride off toward the edge of the plains, while your beta mare watches the heard...
