<I><B>Here I have compiled my own research and thoughts about Filipino’s distinct looks in the mainstream Filipino society. The main distinct groups of Filipinos are split into four categories and they are the Moreno-Morena, Mestizo-Mestiza, Chinto-Chinta and the others.
But really what can you say about Filipinos as a race! We aren’t a race on its own because we are part of the Austronesian & Malay families but what really surprised me is that we are supposably more Austronesian than Malay (source wikipedia). I’ll go into this topic later, but now I’m going to show you our different faces!</I>

<h2>Moreno – Morena </h2>(brown, light brown, dark strawy hair, heavy black eyes) – They in the Philippines are the most common looks here today, but has many distinct phases in different areas of the Philippines. For example southern Filipinos are usually more darker than the Northern Filipinos, this may be because northern Filipinos are far more mixed with Chinese, Spanish & other genes, but this may not make them halfies due to fact that they don’t have distinct or notable body features to be mixed, for example like me, we have Spanish ancestors and I can even prove it because of family artefacts which have been past from generations in my family dating to Spain, but I don’t have any distinct features that point me out to be mixed Spanish, probably because the Spanish blood has faded through generations of integration in our family, its like the study that if u put 10,000 African blacks into the Swedish population and both populations integrated with each other within a century’s time or something they will have lost the distinct African looks and will look like your everyday Caucasian (Swiss), this study must also be done without any interference from other people and races.
Northern Filipinos also may have lighter skin because of latitude.

<h2>Mestizo – Mestiza </h2>(light rosy skin, pink skin, tanned or light brown, Caucasian features) – they are the diminishing group of Filipino’s, as year after year slowly passes the Caucasian ‘ mestizo & mestiza’ in the Filipino society is slowly fading through inter-marriage with other Filipino groups, they have proved studies that a race can slowly degrade in another race without hardly a trace and this is what is happening here in the Philippines.

<h2>Chinto – Chinta</h2> (light brown skin, yellowish skin, oily greasy skin, light skin, mongoloid eyes and features) they are the rapidly growing group apart from the Moreno because of the high northern asian influx into the Philippines mostly consisting of Chinese and Koreans, they have been here for decades and will be here for many more, they have slowly changed the face of Philippines and has integrated with your typical Filipino, with their culture also mixing itself into the Filipino like the Spanish did.
They are fast becoming the Spanish of the last decade.
They are now mostly controlling the business sector and some of the entertainment industry.
