Subject: pre-thoughts Author: Anonymous (hi) [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 20:55:09 05/05/07 Sat PRE- THOUGHTS It seems that it’s no longer the battle of the Latinas, the blondes from the European contingent and the stunning Asians are taking the Miss Universe Pageant seriously. The opinions that you are about to read are based from the clips and photos of the contestants. Nevertheless, this has to be respected and does not intend to make any bias judgment against any contestant. This list will change after I will see the preliminary competitions. These are the ladies who I think will have a greater chances in the making it to the finals. Winner- RUSSIA – She’s blonde, beautiful, and stunning. She’s by far my miss universe 2007. What else could I say about this lady? PERFECT. 2ND- GREECE- I think this year is the year of the blondes. She made this far in my list because her personality captivated me so much. She has a great charm and aura. I could feel her coming as far as top 5. 3rd- COLOMBIA- She’s the best Latina in the group. Watch out for her evening gown. Colombia never failed us with their stunning gowns in the past. 4th- ARGENTINA- A gorgeous brunette. Her experiences in other international pageants will surely give her a greater advantage over the others. She’s lovely and gorgeous. Argentina has been out of the spotlight since a long time. With a right girl like her Argentina might get its 2nd Miss Universe crown. 5th- KOREA- All seem to be captivated by this goddess. Everyone loves her. Her sweet face will earn her the judge’s nod. Her cool personality, spunk and elegance combined will earn her spot in the finals. She’s the best Miss Korea in the history of Miss Universe. 6th- VENEZUELA- If she wins Miss Universe I won’t be surprised. The transformation earns her a spot in the top. She might even steal one of the positions from my sentimental five. She exudes great personality. Talk about the body? WOW. 7TH- COSTA RICA- she’s a Miss Universe in the making. She has a striking face and a voluptuous body. Hope she makes it, otherwise I will be disappointed. In 2004 Nancy Sotto was also 7th on my list. 8th-TANZANIA- Many don’t like her. I observed she’s one of the best black delegates in the history of beauty pageant. Come May28 this lovely lady will surprise us all. 9th- POLAND- A goddess lovely to behold. She’s adorable, and I love to see her shine in the final night. 10th- JAPAN- kurara Chibana was a big hit last year. I have this feeling that this year Miss Japan will do the same. Only she will not get as far as Kurara. I can’t wait to see her national costume. 11th- INDIA- she’s not the best Miss India. But she might give us a pleasant surprise come pageant night. The height mould probably hurt her much, but we can’t tell. Miss Universe is full of surprises. She has one of the best faces in the pageant. 12th- THAILAND- She’s sleek and has great personality. Her height is quite an advantage. All I can say she’s the best Miss Thailand since 1988. 13th- HONDURAS- I have this feeling that this lady can give her country its first Miss Universe. Only if she chooses an excellent gown and a great cat walk skill. She’s very beautiful. 14th- BRAZIL- at first I was not impressed with this girl. She seemed an ordinary beauty pageant contestant. But she is getting her momentum each day higher. Hope she won’t be overlooked. 15th- USA- I am not crazy with this girl. Thought she’s great, that’s why I considered her in my list I would rather see Czech Rep up there. Anyway it’s all about Miss Universe and Miss USA will surely has its safe position in the semis. BUBBLING UP 16TH- CZECH REPUBLIC- A towering lady with a great face and body is hard to be overlooked. But it is not always the case in Miss Universe. If only Miss Universe is held in Czech Rep she would be safe. 17th- PHILIPPINES- Since 1999 this country has never placed in the semis. Although it always sends great contestant each year still it is deprived of a position in the semis. It would be lovely if she makes it to the semis on May 28. 18th- ALBANIA- She’s one of the mot photogenic ladies in the pack. That’s all I can say about her. 19th- SLOVENIA- She has a gorgeous face. A great choice of gown will surely earn her a spot in the semis. But Slovenians are known for their horrible choice of gown in the previous years. She should take this matter at hand. Otherwise it would be a great year for Slovenia. 20th- MEXICO- Honestly I don’t like her much. Since Mexico is the host of this year’s Miss Universe pageant it wouldn’t be unlikely to see her in the semis. Hope you enjoy my comments.
