yep know all about that my sugars are wacking out right now too. what are you eating and how many times a day are you checking your blood sugars?? stress illness or elevated cortisol will make the blood sugars go up plus will lack of exercise not drinking enough water and crappy dieting.

I am taking novolog regular insulin before each meal also.
and levemir long acting once a day I didn't have much luck with 70/30 but I am on 30 mg of pred right now and the stress from pred withdrawl during a wean actually makes my sugars flucuate for several days. elevated blood sugars will make your cholesterol go crazy also
