Howdy Big Momma!

I sure do understand what you are going through. I've been dealing with Cushing's since I was 18, and today I'm 52 years old. The MAIN thing that helps keep me going, is my faith and obedience to God. Knowing that he knows the numbers of hairs on all of our heads, lets me know how much he loves each and everyone of the humans that he created.
He allows us to go through things to help us to grow,to help teach us and others: dependence on Him, love, patience, concern, and service to others, etc. I know that we don't understand why everything happens, but I know that my God is in control, and that gets me through every day.

Living with Cushing's is "YUCKY", to say the least! I agree, if I had known, way back in 1974, what was in that shot the doctor gave me, and what it would do to me, I would never have allowed it, besides all of the steroids since then. SHAME ON THE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES FOR NOT TELLING THE WHOLE TRUTH ABOUT THEIR DRUGS - ALL OF THEIR DRUGS!!!

Big Momma, I love you and everyone on this board, and I'm sorry we are all going through the garbage that this has done to our bodies.
