Val,

I am so glad you are starting to feel better! Honestly, anything you can keep down is good...but a good rule of thumb for nausea/vomiting is the BRAT diet (bananas,rice, applesauce,toast) to ease the tummy :). That's probably why you are doing well with the apple juice...which is probably replacing some of the potassium that the steroids steal from the muscles, making you achey (another good reason to eat bananas if you can). I definitely understand about strong reactions to meds! I am equally sensitive when I lower prednisone...not a fun process...but it's great that you are OFF of it now!!
