HAHAHA...I am down to 50 mg of prednisone...been here for 2 weeks now, drop to 40 mg on Monday, and I am DOWN to 134.5 lbs from 137 lbs HAHAHAHA!!!! This drop in weight is over the last 2 days!!! And now that I am going to be dropping the prednisone AGAIN on Monday, I know that weight will CONTINUE TO DROP!!! YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Of course losing the weight is not fun...my tummy is in revolt and I am living on bread w/a little jelly and club soda, and then pretty much losing that, but that's ok!! LOL...The weight is COMING OFF! This is what always happens to me and the weight STAYS OFF! HAHAHHAHA...Don't mind the crazy girl... LOL...LOL...I know...silly to be so vain when so many other kooky wacky things are going wrong in my body thanks to the prednisone, but this is one thing that is SO TANGIBLE...I can't physically SEE the other things, so they are easier to ignore...but this, this I can grasp, my little fluff on my belly and say BYE BYE :) FINALLY :)

I am seeing a psychologist for pain management and he gave me a great technique (not that it works 100%, but it is kinda cool), it's to talk to your "inner healer" whomever he/she/it may be and let he/she/it help you deal with the pain of lowering the prednisone...well my "inner healer" is a STRONG WARRIOR PRINCESS...it's kind of neat to "talk" to her and have her help me cope with some of the symptoms the withdrawals cause. A very interesting coping strategy...one I never would have thought of on my own. I hope it helps someone else! :)
