Subject: Here I go again....

I can't believe I'm writing this- I'm on pred again. I caught a cold and it flared my asthma; I've been on everything but pred. The inflammation/fluid accumulation in my lungs is getting worse. Apparently, the only thing that will reduce it at this point is pred. I'm on 20mgs today with a 5mg taper. I know it doesn't sound like much to you all, but to me it might as well be 200mg. I haven't taken pred in 16mos. Mainly because I tend to lose major body parts everytime I take any amount. If it wasn't for the fact that I like the feeling of drowning less than dissolving, I wouldn't take it. I'm so discouraged right now I can't think straight. Keep me in your prayers.
