Alexis, benzos (and so many other drugs, like Tylenol) actually suppress your body's own manufacture of cortisol; you want your adrenals working at full tilt when you're withdrawing from the Prednisone. I've found that even a .5 mg of Ativan can cause me to have aches and pains from an adrenal low.

If you absolutely MUST use them, be aware and be very judicious.
