Please be assured that the side effects DO GO AWAY!!! Those doses that doctors give in the hospital are high dose, and necessary, but they do take longer to leave the system. Give it a few more weeks, and in that time, you should notice your side effects start to diminish. The best advice I have for you is to TRY to relax as much as possible. The more you are fretting over this, the longer it will take to heal your body. Stress raises cortisol, which is the hormone that steroids increase. Cortisol is a STRESS HORMONE, so the more you stress, the higher that level, and the longer it will take to get back down. Try things that relax you. I listen to soothing music, meditate, watch a funny show or movie, anything that will take my mind off of what is going on. It may also be a good idea to talk with someone who understands steroids and the withdrawal symptoms.

Please feel free to email me anytime!! I hope you start to find some relief soon!!

Ivy
