If I'm not having breathing issues I don't have any trouble walking. It's only during flare ups. I'm on the Xolair shots for my allergic asthma triggers. Unfortunately, that doesn't help when asthma is caused by a cold, big weather change or smoke due to Ga. wildfires. We've been under a respiratory alert for 3days because of the smoke blowing south from the big wildfires. I've parked as close to my building as possible because any time outside causes wheezing in this mess. I wasn't supposed to.... but at this point I'd rather breathe than be a model employee. I'm trying to get through these smokey days without neb meds. The less inhaled steroids, the better chance of keeping my tooth. With the Xolair, I'm not taking any other asthma meds unless I have trouble. I haven't had pred in 14 months! That's good because I'm REALLY TIRED of loosing body parts! I'm blessed to have survived and regained as much as I have. I just wish my manager would aknowledge how far I've come and work WITH me instead of having a power trip. It was good to hear from you.
