Thanks for responding! I usually do my 500/50 of advair (which I do every day anway), duoneb (albuterol and atrovent mix) every 4-6 hours, and take steam showers...

I have tried xopenex in the past, and it did NOTHING (not that the duoneb is great, but it does open me up a bit), as for the other 2 meds...I will have to talk to my doc about it next month when I see him. I do stay VERY well hydrated all the time thanks to my adrenal insuffiency...

I am freaking out now because the whole flipping state of FL is on fire. The air quality is unhealthy for AT LEAST the next 2 days. I am lucky in that I don't have to go outside at all...but it is scary!! Houses are not completely sealed...and even if they were, my parents have to go in and out (plus I have a puppy that needs to go in and out). I am staying mostly in my bedroom which has a hurricane shutter still up (because it keeps my room dark when I have a migraine) and an air purifier. My mom put plastic garbage bags up over the windows in the front, and towels along the sliding glass doors in the back. I am HOPING that this is enough to keep the allergens OUT. I am suffering through the MAJOR drop back down to 7 mg of pred...I would HATE to have to go through that again so soon!!

Keep those fingers and toes crossed that the fires are put out SOON!!!

Much love,

Ivy
