Oh Big Ma, I'm so sorry to hear about all the troubles you are still having!! It sounds like adrenal suppression to me too...which can be dangerous! I am sorry you had to change your dosage around again, but maybe it will be for the best in the long run.

Whenever I used to wean down I would get horribly dizzy and faint for about 3 weeks before things stabilized. I developed POTS (postural orthostatic intolerance)which causes fainting, dizzy feeling, rapid hr, low bp OR high bp...these symptoms normally happen while standing, eating, urinating, vomiting, or having a bm. There are meds that can help it, as well as compression stockings that are supposed to help. I could not take the meds because of other health issues and the stockings made me pass out LOL. Luckily, the symptoms DO GO AWAY when your body adjusts to the dose of prednisone you are on. Another reason for the POTS (linked with weaning) is dehydration...sometimes a bag of fluids in the ER would help...

If it is adrenal suppression, though, I don't know if the dose you are on is too low for you...only your doc would be able to tell that! My thoughts and prayers are with you always!!!!

Love/hugs/prayers

Ivy
