In need of a distraction,
a reciprocated reaction,
or your burning passions,
no more lashing out at friends,
which tends to be damaging,
witness my character rampaging,
leading to discouraging thoughts
of foraging through your crystal-clear eyes,
discovering truths while
uncovering the imperfections
that my affections were hiding from my mind,
radar was showing no detection,
then sudden rejection,
ripping, stripping away the hope that love would prevail, forgetting one detail,
both parties must agree for that love to set sail.
