The shadows have lightened into another day,
"awake my love,'tis here I cannot stay! Out of the bathing warmth and into the light's glare,
My Mommy's arms are waiting there.
Daddy's too,as he cuts my tie,
Now I can have a hearty cry.
Mommy's arms tighten,she whispers and cries
Daddy bends down a tear glistens his eyes
Here you are-whee,now we are three!
"I am here ',I declare very loud
as my talk is a shriek,my walk a wiggle
soon I'll be home and hear Mommy giggle!
Daddy will sprint here and there
"I can't believe she's finally here.!
Grandma smiles,cries and says
"she's Catherine and Adam wrapped up in that little bed.
Slowly I nestle against the sweet warmth,as Momcradles my head
The love of family fills the air
Daddy and Mom's love is mine to share
I snuggle as if still in Heaven
Kicking and cooing too good to be true
I know their love for me is oh so new!
I'm Here! shhh,yes dear oh yes.
