Honestly, this season has been a drag. Both my boyfriend and I are huge fans of this show, and we have dates every Tuesday to watch it, but lately we've just been sitting through it to wait for 24 to come on! Come on DB! Give us something to like! Even during sweeps there was nothing. There hasn't been one Shipper moment all season and the plots are just so boring (or stupid).
I completely agree when you say you're sorry for the cast, I am to. They don't deserve the image that I'm starting to believe people have of them. Especially DJE! He's a Canadian (just like me!) and we're proud of him up here!! People who watch the show love him. Lately though, if you say his name, people say stuff like he sucks or that JAG is a waste of their time because IT sucks! And I'm sorry, but he doesn't suck. Correct me if I'm wrong please, but I'm sure he used to act at Stratford, and people who manage to get jobs there normally DON'T suck.
CB too! I love her, she was my role model in grades 7 and 8 (I'm 19 now), I even cut my hair to be like hers in grade 9! Now I just feel sorry for her for working her butt off on a show that's barely worth watching anymore.
I pray that DB turns it around and makes it again into the show I used to love in the good old days (aka, seasons 5 and 6!), and making so many mistakes. I just hope the show isn't cancelled because of low ratings. It would be sad to see yet another one of my favourites go out with a whimper and not a bang!
