We all have our opinions of *how* NC landed the role on JAG, & in all probability, her contract was probably tied to DJE's, & quite honestly, I am STUNNED that TPTB had the guts to eliminate her role, cause I didn't see it happening. I'm glad it did, never cared for the actress or the character, but am also glad DJE & DB reached an agreement for S9 & S10. Harm isn't my favorite character by a long shot, but JAG wouldn't be JAG without either Harm or Mac. As for Tracy Needham, this is a correct assessment...inside... -- Dress Whites And Roses

Kip posted a while back that its highly improbable that Meg's character would be brought back, & it was stated "DB did not care for her." I interpreted this as DB didn't care for the actress, probably cause she was forced upon him by NBC, who wanted a blonde partner for Harm, instead of Andrea Parker (Kate) who DB preferred. Probably nothing against TN, she was the right actress at the time, but in the wrong spot for DB, if that makes sense.

I doubt we will ever see a return of Meg's character, wish I could be as confident that DB won't bring Mic back, LOL!! Would love to get a definitive answer from Kip on that one, LOL!

- Hey Sam! I didn't take your post as any type of judgement, No Worries! I was just trying to answer your TN question, because it has been asked on several of the lists, & Kip (the show insider who answers questions) pretty much stated emphatically that DB didn't care for TN, & that she wouldn't be back in a cameo as Meg Austin. I here you on the family thing, just look at DB, his kids have had roles in JAG, his wife had a cameo in Need to Know, so I agree with you, its not uncommon at all.
