Interesting imagery you use here Al, which helps the reader to visualise although this needs several readings and I am still not sure I interpret it correctly - perhaps we can discuss?

Just wondering about the last stanz - 'salt' is usually a symbolic expression of a corresive element in a relationship - was wondering if that is what you meant here?
