There is a stranger,
On the edge of vision,
In certain darkness...
I say darkness, but
It comes with moonlight.

I remember the first time
I experienced drunkeness,
The shadowed room slipped
And fell beneath my feet,
The world was spinning.

I remember the first time
I fell in love...

I've let my soul reach
Beyond where stars are,
Listened to the voices
Of all who have lived,
And how we've argued!
And some, I've won...

But another night like this,
My soul only reaches a
Circle, with an edge,
And a stranger there,
Hiding in the woods.

Calling me, in my voice,
To where I am standing,
Teetering... drunk
On you, not awaking.
